Burgess Foggers, Bonide Foggers: Propane and Electric Insect Fogger

There are two basic types of foggers: cold fog and heat or thermal fog. Cold foggers are electric powered units that use fans or special tips to turn liquid material into tiny droplets or aerosol form.
Heat fogging units use a thermal means to turn your liquid material into a dense smoke or fog.
Thermal foggers are for outdoor use; generally used to fog lawns, shrubs, small trees to kill mosquitoes, gnats, biting flies or other flying insects.

These lightweight, easy to use foggers are used to kill mosquitoes, biting flies and other nuisance outdoor pests. Treating outdoors with these devices will kill mosquitoes that transmit West Nile and other diseases. To protect yourself and your family from these pests, use your fogger to kill mosquitoes and use a good insect repellent on exposed skin. The Centers for Disease Control and other health professionals recommend using an insect repellent containing DEET. An alternative to DEET (for small children or for those who do not wish to use DEET) is CedarCide. There are two Thermal Foggers to choose from: Propane powered fogger and electric powered fogger. Both models are light weight and easy to use. At this time, only propane powered fogging units are available.
