This garden sprayer/ home pesticide applicator has a plastic tank with a metal handle, brass wand and a brass adjustable tip. The tank won't rust out, and the handles and wands are not easily broken. Use any type of pesticides that you want in these chemical sprayers, but the use of bleach, acids or degreasers voids our Chapin sprayer warranty. When you need a part, just call us, we'll send it out immediately at absolutely no charge. Whatever pesticide or herbicide you mix must be used immediately; never store any type of pesticide in your chemical sprayer. Although water is the necessary "vehicle" for delivering liquid insecticides, water is also a major enemy of pesticide solutions. (This helps explain why so many "ready mixed" or "ready to use" products do not work!)  Pesticide solutions left in sprayers will corrode and weaken gaskets, seals and other parts of the sprayer.
