| Cuban Cockroach = Order: Dictyopera; Family: Blaberidae |
Cuban cockroaches are not exactly the most talked about pest in the roach
kingdom but we list it here for those who seek information.
This roach is easily identified by its color, which is pale green in adult stage
for both male and female roaches. The adult Cuban roach grows to about 3/4
inch in length.
Nymphs of this insect are not green but are dark brown in color. This is a
tropical species of cockroach that is generally not found north of Florida.
Around homes and business, the Cuban Cockroach is attracted to
light. Adults are capable of flight. It is doubtful that you will
ever encounter this roach as a pest.
