Dursban Pro Insecticide ConcentrateLow Order DursbanDursban Pro is no longer available. Chlorpyrifos (the chemical name for Dursban) is an organophosphate type of insecticide. All organophosphates are being phased out per the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA) over the next few years. The sale of the majority of Dursban protects ceased as of the end of the 2002 calendar year. Most Diazinon product will not be available by the end of 2004. Other organophosphates such as Acephate (also known as Orthene), Cygon and Oftanol are being phased out through label restrictions or as existing product inventories are depleted. Instead of using Dursban Pro or Dursban LO, use one of the following alternatives: Permethrin, professional strength Catalyst (no longer available for residential household pest control) |
