Manage Herbicide Kills NutsedgeManage Herbicide has been replaced with SedgeHammer Herbicide. SedgeHammer replaces Manage herbicide by Monsanto, which Gowan Company acquired the rights for last year. Manage is a selective herbicide used for the control of nutsedge (Purple Nutsedge, Yellow Nutsedge) and other weeds in turf grass and landscaped areas.
Use Manage herbicide for post-emergent control of sedges such as purple and yellow
nutsedge in established lawns, ornamental turfgrass and landscaped areas. May be
applied to commercial and residential turf and on other non-crop sites including: Grasses Tolerant to Manage When applied as directed, the following turf grasses are tolerant to this product: Cool Season Grasses Warm Season Grasses Weeds Controlled by Manage Purple nutsedge Cyperus
rotundus When used as a post emergent spray, this product will suppress: Mixing, Application, Ordering Each pack of Manage Turf Herbicide contains a 0.9 gram unit, which makes one gallon
of weed killing solution and treats 1,000 square feet. The
manufacturer suggests using an non-ionic
surfactant spreader sticker to enhance the performance of Manage Turf
Herbicide.
