Manage Herbicide for Control of Nutsedge, Purple, Yellow

Manage Herbicide has been replaced with SedgeHammer Herbicide. SedgeHammer replaces Manage herbicide by Monsanto, which Gowan Company acquired the rights for last year.

SedgeHammer Herbicide is a selective herbicide used for the control of nutsedge (Purple Nutsedge, Yellow Nutsedge) and other weeds in turf grass and landscaped areas.

Use Manage herbicide for post-emergent control of sedges such as purple and yellow nutsedge in established lawns, ornamental turfgrass and landscaped areas. May be applied to commercial and residential turf and on other non-crop sites including:
airports, cemeteries, fallow areas, golf courses, landscaped areas, public recreation areas, residential property, roadsides, school grounds, sod or turf seed farms, sports fields, landscaped areas with established woody ornamental and other similar sites.

Grasses Tolerant to Manage

When applied as directed, the following turf grasses are tolerant to this product:

Cool Season Grasses
Bentgrass, creeping Bluegrass, Kentucky
Ryegrass, perennial Fescue, fine
Fescue, tall

Warm Season Grasses
Bahiagrass            Bermudagrass

Seashore paspalum            St. Augustinegrass

Weeds Controlled by Manage

When used as a post emergent spray, this product will suppress:
Kyllinga spp.

Mixing, Application, Ordering

Each pack of Manage Turf Herbicide contains a 0.9 gram unit, which makes one gallon of weed killing solution and treats 1,000 square feet. The manufacturer suggests using an non-ionic surfactant spreader sticker to enhance the performance of Manage Turf Herbicide.
