JECTA® ( Jecta Gel ) diffusible boracide is an effective termiticide to treat wood, eliminating wood destroying pests. When injected into wood, Jecta Gel will eliminate and protect the wood from subterranean termites, powderpost beetles, old house borers, carpenter ants and decay fungi. This material is applied to wood where deep penetration is needed, giving up to 10 years residual protection against wood destroying organisms. Wood which comes in contact with the ground or soil needs to be treated with Jecta Gel. Water passing through the ground will eventually extract other termiticides from wood, limiting the duration of their control.

Jecta Gel is safe, odorless and easy to apply, when label instructions are followed. Simply use existing holes in damaged areas or drill small holes to pump the gel into. This borate is a gelatinous material packaged in a handy syringe, designed for application to wood by injection into voids, checks, cracks, crevices and pre-drilled holes. Excellent for use in log homes, especially when used in conjunction with Bora-Care, a liquid concentrate for spraying on wood.
