Pest Control

Onslaught

Micro-encapsulated Insecticide Concentrate

Pests Controlled by Onslaught Insecticide    General Information    How to Order Onslaught

The active ingredient in Onslaught is esfenvalerate, sometimes listed as S-fenvalerate.
This active ingredient has been used in other products, with different trade names.  Onslaught is a superior formulation which has a longer residual activity against target insects and pests and has little to no odor when sprayed indoors or outdoors.
Onslaught is one of the preferred choices for those who have been using Suspend SC when spraying indoors for fleas,
ticks, bedbugs or other pests that many times require a broadcast treatment.
[Suspend SC does still have an indoor flea label but now limits spraying to spot treatment and no longer allows for broadcast spraying indoors.]
The micro-encapsulated formulation of this insecticide simply means that the product lasts longer, giving better (longer) control of listed pests.  Emulsifiable concentrates (EC) normally give a 30 day residual when sprayed indoors.  Onslaught usually lasts two to three times longer for crawling pests inside of homes and commercial accounts.
This is a highly concentrated product.  Only .50 ounces of Onslaught concentrate is needed per gallon of water, when
treating for most household pests.  The "clean out" rate is only 1.00 ounce per gallon of water.  This higher rate is often used for initial treatment of high infestations and/or when spraying for hard to control pests.  These pests include (but are not limited to) German Cockroaches, Fleas, Ticks and Spiders.
A list of pests controlled by Onslaught is listed below.
There are five special points of interest which are making Onslaught a very popular product:
1. Micro-encapsulated for longer residual.
2. Labeled for indoor flea, tick control, which requires broadcast
treatment.
3. Labeled for use in commercial food handling areas.
4. Only .5 ounce to 1 ounce of concentrate per gallon is needed.
5. Can be used indoors and outdoors for many different pests.
