Acephate Pro PCO (a.i. : Acephate 96%) - An insecticide concentrate in water soluble powder form. Same as Orthene PCO , the most requested product among our customers who own or operate restaurants. This product is a favorite of professionals because it is labeled for use in restaurants (and other commercial food areas) and for its powerful action against German Roach populations that are resistant to synthetic pyrethroid insecticides. It also is popular for its ability to stick to stainless steel (where other pesticides often fail) in commercial kitchens. Kills roaches, ants, wasps and other household insects. Baygon 70 WP - (a.i. Baygon 70.0%) Baygon WP is no longer available; use Demon WP, Cynoff WP (Cypermethrin products) or Suspend SC, instead. This Carbamate class of insecticide is a favorite with our customers for eliminating centipede and millipede populations around their homes. Baygon WP gives excellent control of such insects as ants, cockroaches, clover mites, crickets, earwigs, outdoor fleas, flies (exterior structural surfaces), millipedes, mosquitoes (exterior structural surfaces), scorpions, silverfish, sow bugs, spiders, ticks, water bugs, punkies and sand flies. It provides good flushing action and rapid knockdown of cockroaches. The wettable powder formulation gives a long residual control of these insects. Packaged in 1 LB container and makes 16 gallons of solution.
Professional Pyrethrin Aerosol (a.i. Pyrethrins... .5%,
Piperonyl Butoxide, technical...4.0 %) - An aerosol insecticide that gives quick
knock-down on listed pests, used primarily as a crack and crevice tool. When applied
as a space spray, it will kill Flies, Mosquitoes, Moths, Wasps, Gnats. A favorite of
pest control operators for use as a crack and crevice application to flush or kill many
flying or crawling pests such as Ants, Crickets, Spiders, Silverfish, Carpet Beetles,
Weevils, Mites, Bedbugs and other unwanted pests.

CB-Air Devil (a.i. Cypermethrin 1.0%) Low odor aerosol that provides rapid control of
residential and industrial pests. The quick knockdown of Cypermethrin kills the

powder concentrate which gives an average 90 day residual. A one pound jar will make
up to 48 gallons of insecticide spray. The Number One Choice of pest control

Cynoff Wettable

DeltaGard G (a.i. Deltamethrin): Granular insecticide which utilizes a unique, water soluble
carrier. Its irregularly shaped granules dissolve completely (leaving no particles that
might be picked up by birds and other non-target species!), delivering the maximum dose of
DeltaGard to the target insects. Packaged in convenient 20 lb. bags which, at the
treatment rate of just 2 lb. per thousand square feet, will treat over10,000 square feet.
This is considerably less than traditional granules, and means you carry a lot less bulk
while still getting the job done properly. Normal residual is up to 4 weeks, depending on
environmental conditions and targeted pests.
DeltaGard
Demon EC (a.i.: Cypermethrin 25.3%): Low odor
liquid concentrate which leaves no visible residue. Gives quick "Knock-Down" for
German roaches and is the product of choice for drenching fire ant mounds. Use 1/2 to 1
ounce per gallon. Packaged in a 16 ounce, easy measure container that will make up
to 32 gallons of solution. Similar to Cynoff EC.
Kills most household pests.
Demon EC
Demon WP (a.i. Cypermethrin 40%): A crack
and crevice and/or spot treatment for residual and contact control of ants, carpenter
ants, cockroaches, crickets, spiders and certain other insects. This odorless
wettable powder is the most popular insecticide concentrate used in general household pest
control. Available in pre-measured water soluble packets and 1 LB bulk jars.

(a.i. - Orthoboric acid 5%): Indoor ant bait in gel
form. The "double barrel" syringe delivers both sugar and protein baits in one
easy application.

Ficam D (a.i. - Bendiocarb 1%): Ficam D is no longer available; use Delta Dust or Drione Dust instead. Professional insecticide dust that is applied to cracks, crevices and voids where insects might hide or enter buildings. Kills ants, carpenter ants, crickets, roaches, spiders, scorpions, silverfish, firebrats, ticks, fleas, wasps, bees, sow bugs, pill bugs, earwigs, millipedes, ground beetles, centipedes and fire ants. Also used in control and elimination of pantry pests such as Grain Beetles (Rusty, Merchant and Sawtoothed), Flour Beetles (Red and Confused), Drugstore Beetles, Rice Weevils, Lesser Grain Borers, Spider Beetles and Tobacco Moths. We have found this dust to be one of the most effective on the market for controlling spiders, scorpions and other household pests.
Ficam Plus (a.i. Bendiocarb 29.45%, pyrethrins 3.06%, Piperonyl Butoxide 7.66%): Ficam Plus is no longer available; use Demon WP, Suspend SC or Talstar Concentrate insecticide instead. Same basic product as FicamW, featuring the addition of pyrethrins and Piperonyl Butoxide for a quick knock-down. Tip: For German Roach populations that are immune or resistant to pesticides, combine Ficam Plus with Acephate for roach elimination.

(a.i. Nylar) Same as Archer:
Indoor and outdoor IGR which
inhibits the life cycle of fleas and roaches. Can be used alone (for long term
prevention of a flea or roach infestation) or in conjunction with a pesticide.
One ounce of Flea Fix will treat up to 1500 sq. ft.. when treating for fleas. For
control of severe roach populations, two ounces Flea Fix is suggested per gallon of water.
Tip: Field studies have shown that using Flea Fix increases the appetite of roaches
- thus driving them to "pig-out" on superior roach baits such as Maxforce Gel. Use Flea Fix three times each
year to prevent flea and roach infestations.

FluorGuard
(a.i. - Sulfur amid): Indoor ant bait stations. This product
is effective against Pharaoh Ants, Fire
Ants, Argentine Ants, Cornfield Ants and a variety of household ants. Is also used to help monitor and reduce White Footed Ant
populations. FluorGuard can be used in homes, restaurants (and other food handling
and serving areas), hospitals or anywhere ants are a problem. Use 3 to 4 stations
per room where ants are present; for heavy infestations, 6 to 8 stations may be necessary.
Tip: combine with Gourmet

Granules (a.i. - Hydramethylnon): Ant bait
in small pelletized granular form. Primarily used to eliminate ants but also labeled
for roaches and crickets. Maxforce is used to control a variety of ants including
the following species: Acrobat, Argentine, Big Headed, Carpenter, Cornfield, Field, Fire
ant, Ghost, Harvester, Odorous House Ant, Pharaoh and Thief. Use 1 ounce per 1800
square feet. Tip: Broadcast your Maxforce ant bait in areas where ants forage for
food (lawns, flower beds, etc.) instead of dumping on mounds. "Mound
dumping" usually causes the ants to discontinue feeding while moving away from your
bait.

Permethrin For Termite Treatment: Permethrin is available in different sizes and concentrations. In general,
the weaker the formulation, the less time it will remain active in the soil. Be sure to
treat the entire home for best results unless you are sure there is only a small area
which needs to be treated.
Consumer Grade Permethrin: (least concentrated and has odor
during application) Quart is $34.59 (plus S&H,); mixes with 6 gallons of water, will
last 1-2 years, treats 15 linear feet.
Professional Grade
Permethrin: (low to
no odor during or after application) [Permethrin Pro, Tengard, Dragnet] Available in 1
quart size and 5 quart size. If you mix 1 quart with 10 gallons of water, it will
treat 25 linear feet and last about 5 years. If you mix 1 quart with 20 gallons of
water it will treat 50 linear feet and last 2-3 years. 5 quart containers: mix
with 50 gallons of water, treats 125 linear feet, lasts about 5 years. If mixed with
100 gallons of water, Professional Permethrin will treat 250 linear feet and the treatment
will last 2-3 years.

(a.i. Permethrin 36.8%):
[Same a.i. as Dragnet] This odorless insecticide is a favorite with professionals and
homeowners for general purpose pest control as well as termite control. When used as
directed, Permethrin is a very safe product; labeled for use indoors on carpets, outdoors
on turf and ornamentals; one of the best termiticides available. The high
concentration means very little product is used per application. For fleas, roaches,
ticks, ants and other indoor pests, only 1 to 1.6 ounces of Permethrin is needed per
gallon. Do not treat animals with this product; if you wish to treat dogs, horses or
other livestock with Permethrin, you must use Permethrin-10
concentrate. When treating outdoors for fleas, ticks, ants, molecrickets,
chinch bugs and other insects, 1 ounce of Permethrin will cover 1000 square feet of
lawn. Works great in combination with IGRs such as Flea Fix. Most
homeowners need the quart size, unless they are treating their home for termites.

Precor (a.i. Methoprene 1.0 %): Odorless IGR concentrate which keeps immature fleas from
growing into reproducing adults - thus breaking their life cycle. Used alone,
Precor

Precor 2000
(a.i. Methoprene .09 %, Permethrin .50 %): Extremely low odor aerosol used
to control fleas in homes, kennels, garages or where pets frequent.
Contains an IGR and an insecticide for eliminating and controlling fleas. Precor
2000 has the droplet size preferred by professionals for spraying hardwood floors, tile,
concrete and other non-carpeted surfaces. A favorite with pet grooming parlors and
pet boarding kennels.

Talstar (a.i. Bifenthrin) Talstar is a synthetic pyrethroid that is available in both granular and liquid concentrate forms. When used as directed by the label, it is very safe towards non-target animals, birds, reptiles, mammals. Talstar lasts much longer than organophosphate pesticides such as Dursban, Diazinon, Malathion, Acephate. We have had many reported cases of Talstar controlling molecrickets for up to two months, chinch bugs, ants, fire ants for three months! Only 1 or 2 applications are needed each year for mole crickets. No special site preparation is needed when treating for mole crickets with Talstar. Talstar is very effective in controlling ants, fleas, chinch bugs and other turf and ornamental pests. For more information about molecrickets, go to our Molecrickets Article.
Tempo SC Ultra

11.8%): This liquid concentrate formulation has the same basic label as
Tempo WP. The advantage of using Tempo SC is no visible residue. This handy 240
mil. bottle is easily stored, has a handy measuring bottle and yields thirty gallons of
