NutsedgeNutsedge is a fast growing, rapidly spreading weed that invades turf and non turf areas. This weed can produce an uneven turf surface causing increased mowing and poor aesthetics. To kill Nutsedge, use a herbicide that is labeled for the plant since most standard herbicides will not affect the Nutsedge. Manage and Image herbicides are labeled for killing Nutsedge. Image is used to kill tough weeds in turf grasses and can be used in most temperature ranges. SedgeHammer is designed specifically for killing Yellow and Purple Nutsedge. For best results, use spreader sticker as SedgeHammer does not contain a surfactant. SedgeHammer is the same product as Manage Herbicide. Manage is no longer being produced by Monsanto. Use SedgeHammer Herbicide the same as you would Manage. |
