Protecta tamper resistant bait stations protect your rodent traps and rodent bait from moisture, dust or other contaminating elements while keeping rat baits out of reach of non target animals. Locking lid is opened with Protecta key included with purchase of bait stations.
These rodent baiters keep your bait fresh while providing a prime feeding station where Roof Rats, Norway Rats and mice consume your rodenticides. Rodents will eat more bait that is placed in bait stations. Rats and mice feel secure in a bait station, encouraging them to eat more bait per visit.
Use the Protecta Rat Bait Station indoors and outdoors, in areas frequented by rodents. Contrac Blox, Talon Weather Blok XT, Generation Bait Blocks and Maki Bait Blocks can all be used in these bait stations. Contrac Blox (example shown in picture) and Talon Weather Bloks can be mounted to metal rods provided with each Protecta. The T-Rex Rat Trap can also be placed in the Protecta Rat Bait Station, to keep it out of reach of pets and children.
When used in warehouses or around perimeter of food processing plants or restaurants, place a Protecta Bait Station every 15 to 20 feet for severe or continuous rat infestations, less for light infestations. For better bait acceptance (in heavy rodent infestations) use a combination of baits. Maki pellet packs should be used with Contrac Blox or Talon Bloks to entice picky eaters in a heavily infested area.
If guard dogs, wildlife or other non-target animals have access to the area being baited, use the suggested rat bait blocks (Contrac or Talon) that can be secured inside of the bait stations. Pellets and unsecured bait blocks can be pulled out of the stations by rats that are hoarding food. These unsecured baits might be dropped on the ground where non-target animals might consume the bait.
For mice elimination programs, use the Protecta Mouse bait stations, smaller tamper resistant baiters that fit in tight areas frequented by mice.
