Scythe Weed and Grass Killer
Non-selective Contact Herbicide
Kills grass and weeds fast!
Scythe is used as an organic, contact weed and grass killer which is composed of
pelargonic acid and related fatty acids. This material is a non-selective (kills
broadleaf and grasses) contact spray concentrate. Results are usually visible within
minutes after spray application.
Mix Scythe with water and spray the foliage of
unwanted grasses, broadleaf weeds and some perennials. On harder plants (or strong
weeds over 6 inches in height) this herbicide will suppress or kill the new, top growth.
For an impressive, fast kill on hardier plants (unwanted shrubs, blackberry bushes,
tall weeds), mix 2 ounces Roundup Professional (or 1 pack of Roundup QuikPro Dry) and 4 ounces
Scythe per gallon of water. This super gallon of solution will treat 500 square
feet.
Most of our customers prefer to mix Scythe with Roundup QuikPro Dry.
Note to commercial applicators:
Combining Scythe and
Roundup will give you a super fast kill. Scythe will speed up the translocation of
Roundup throughout the treated plants. This is a great combination if your customer
is in a hurry, preparing for a party, wedding or other outdoor activity.
Use a Chapin 1 Gallon Sprayer or other pump type sprayer to apply herbicides or pesticides.
Mix 1 packet Roundup QuikPro Dry and 4 ounces Scythe per gallon of
water.
For new growth or tender shoots and leaves, Scythe can be used alone.
