The Universal has the same dimensions of the humane, live Raccoon Trap and also has a sliding back door for easy release of captured wildlife animals. Two optional entrance doors makes this trap perfect for capturing Armadillos. A standard front entrance can be used (in the same manner as using a Raccoon Trap, Cat Trap or Squirrel Trap) and you also have the option of capturing animals as they emerge from their exit holes in the ground.
Many people have trouble capturing Armadillos that can ruin lawns, golf courses and gardens. Trapping these pests is not always easy because it can be difficult to lure the animal to the trap and also to get the animal to enter the trap. The Universal Trap does not rely on the Armadillos to wander around your property until it finally locates your trap. We can now capture the animal as it exits from its underground den. This trapping technique works for burrowing animals of similar size such as nuisance woodchucks.
