The Visu Industrial fly trap has a wide-open design that gives the unit more
power in attracting flying insects.
Choose from 30 watt and 80 watt fly traps to obtain desired coverage.
Visu 80 watt fly trap covers at least 2,600 square feet. The 30 watt trap
will cover about 1,000 square feet.
Trap placement, competing light sources and other variables can effect the
attractant power of your trap.
Age of bulbs can also affect your trap's effectiveness. As UV bulbs age,
the human eye cannot detect the change in UV light wave -- but flying insects
are affected. New bulbs attract better than old bulbs. Usually,
ultraviolet bulbs will last about 12 to 18 months before needing to be
replaced. A clean bulb will have more attracting power than a greasy,
dusty one.
